邏輯詞是『：』，冒號表示說明補充或解釋，所以他的出現代表著她跟上一個小句子邏輯相同，就把『：』當等號，邏輯詞找好了就來找關鍵字，so表示因果所以不會轉折，邏輯同向，因此整個一長串句子就完全相同邏輯
接著He was never (i) ；he was nothing if not (ii) , so he forbore for the present to declare his passion
所以 forbore→never (i) ，那也只能選忍受的相反了(B)impetuous，nothing if not，負負得正，選和前面句子相反即可(E)circumspect

impetuous(adj)衝動的
nothing if not=very，但是也可以當作分詞構句想法去解釋he was nothing if not circumspect還原→he was nothing, if (he was) not circumspect，主詞相同掰掰，Be動詞變being但是無意義再省略
