接著就是要找In contrast,表示前後觀點又對立了，因此這裡接下來一定是要打槍『正統地位』，pioneering studies such as those by Scribner and Moxey take a strikingly different approach, according to which Northern Renaissance prints were purposeful, active, and important shaping forces in the communities that produced them.，先找主幹，經過抓主詞抓動詞後會知道有個先進的觀點跟正統觀點不同，那他進一步說先進觀點是purposeful, active, and important shaping forces，所以相較之下，正統觀點就要『取反』

最後看到for example看到這兩字就別再看了，這表示支持前方觀點的例子，好開始作題

第一題：

問passive是啥意思，就以往經驗他一定要去跟文章內容做對應才能判斷意思，直接選的話一定會中招，所以位置是判斷passive在In contrast前面，所以他的意思就是purposeful, active, and important shaping forces的『反義』，這樣一來值有（Ａ）disinterested，公正不會purposeful，冷漠不會active，無私不偏激不會 shaping forces。選（Ａ）
