這是GRE傳統的連動考法,兩選項互相牽制,所以先看到『 : 』分號表示補充解釋和說明前句,所以邏輯同向,然後整句讀完比較敏感的地方是competence=highly capable,所以可以推論competence and warmth這個平行結構中的warmth應該是跟Blank(ii)友所對應的,所以找一個跟溫不溫暖有關的詞,(E)unfeeling
所以順一下『 : 』後頭的內容可以發現highly capable帶來unfeeling這裡應該是成反比的,接下來回推第一空格,既然剛剛推出warmth VS. unfeeling那麼Blank(i)只能填入相反狀態了(C)inversely related
